Barbara Jean Lindsey

Barbara, also known as “Bobbie” to her friends, was born to the late Herman and Cordie Clark on September 26, 1932 in Spring City, TN. She also grew up with her loving stepmother, the late Geneva Clark. Our mom married the love of life, the late James E. Lindsey while he was serving in the US Army.

In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara is also predeceased by her daughter, Kathy Lindsey and sister, Wanda Mae Sharpe.

She is survived and will be lovingly remembered by her children: Kenneth Lindsey, Brenda Armstrong (Mike), Deborah Fagan (Gary), a sister: Betty, brothers: Herman Dean “HD” and George, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Barbara will be laid to rest next to her husband after an intimate ceremony with close friends and family. Visitation will be from 11AM-12PM Friday, May 12, 2023 with funeral services to follow at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC. Burial in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
