Barbara Joyce Rollins, 75, of Charlotte, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. She was born September 26, 1937 in Charlotte, a daughter of Ben P. Champion and Lillian Robinson Champion. Joyce graduated from West Mecklenburg High School, Class of 1955 and worked for Sabena World Airlines as a sales representative. Together with her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Ben D. Champion. She is survived by her beloved husband, Max D. Rollins, a brother, Robert P. Champion and niece, Christina Champion. Family and friends will gather for a graveside service, 11:00 AM on Friday, February 8, 2013, at Sharon Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to your church in Joyce’s memory would be greatly appreciated.
