He was born on January 26, 1963, to Nancy Belk King Dallas and the late Carroll Franklin King.
He served in the National Guard and the regular Army for twenty-four years.
His family will greet friends on Monday, May 25, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the McEwen-Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, in Charlotte, NC, followed by his funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Pastor Carl Williams will officiate. Interment will be in the Waxhaw Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors.
Survivors include his three children, Benjamin King (Natalie), Lancaster, SC; Kristin King, Ft. Mill, SC; and Daniel King, Ft. Mill, SC; his mother, Nancy K. Dallas, Ft. Mill, SC; six grandchildren; his sister, Cheryl Stone, Jefferson, GA; his two brothers, James “Matt” King (Debbie), Indian Land, SC, and Stephen Christopher King (Pat), Cleveland, GA.
