Mrs. Bessie Shoemaker Powell, 88, of Iron Station and Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on Friday, the 16th of January, 2026 at her residence while living with her son.
The Shoemaker-Powell family will greet friends on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at McEwen Funerals & Cremations at Forest Lawn West. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM in Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
