

She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and a friend to all who knew her. She was a homemaker, taught children's Sunday school at Green Memorial Baptist Church and Hickory Grove Baptist Church. She had a passion in her heart for taking care of all kinds of animals and a special affection for dogs of all kinds and was a breeder of Great Danes, Boston Terriers, Chihuahuas, Bishon Frise's, but especially her Great Dane, “Goliath”. Betsy loved riding in her Mustang and listening to music, watching old movies and reciting lines from episodes of, “I Love Lucy”.
Betsy will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, fun loving spirit, and her wonderful laugh. Everyone who knew her loved her and she was always the "life of the party". She loved walking her dogs, fishing, cooking special dishes, all of her many pets and talking on the phone for hours to her family and friends. More than anything she loved her daughter, “The Doll", Ezra and her Daddy who she is now with in Heaven.
She is survived by her husband, Randy of 26 years, and daughter Ezra Grace Fox Cheely, her mother, Carol Fox, sisters Karen Klimt and husband Kevin, and Melanie Fox, 4 nieces, 3 nephews and all of her pets.
The family will gather to greet friends from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Green Memorial Baptist Church. A service to celebrate her life will follow in the sanctuary at 1:00 PM and burial will follow in Charlotte Memorial Gardens.
