I have just received a call from Skip and was informed about the passing of my dear friend Betsy's passing. My heart is broken as I will miss her but I know she is with Zeb, Debbie and Pam in heaven. Pam was one of my best friends too! Betsy was a strong woman with a good wit and a kind heart. She was a joy to know. My life is much richer for knowing her. My deepest sympathy to Skip and all the family.

My heart goes out to your family and especially to you Skip.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  May you find peace and comfort in this hardship.  Besty was a strong person with a kindness and caring that touched many lives.  She will be missed.

I was a big fan and caring friend of Betsy.  Her daughter, Debby and I spent our summers water skiing together at the "River."  Her other daughter, Pam, was sweet to interact with me after Debby's death.  I mourn them as my family.  I too rescued over 64 cats and understand the attachment and love she put in.  Hope her little kitties will be doubly loved.  Skip, I'm sorry you were too young to remember me but sometimes it's enough to understand how precious others held those precious in your life.  I wish I had known she was so sick.  I'd left my number and called and at least we had a brief moment at  Zeb's and Pam's funerals.  I send you love, I wish you well and would love to have your address to send you a photo or two I know I could find of Debby.  My sincerest condolences and love.

We had the great privilege of  living as Zeb and Betsy's neighbors as our children were growing up.  They were always so encouraging and patient with our teenagers.  We loved her spirit!  We give thanks for her life and send your whole family our wishes for comfort at this difficult time of loss.  May God bless you all!
