Charlotte - Betty Jo, 91, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at home. She was born November 21, 1922 in Parkersburg, West Va., the daughter of B.V. and Leota S, Kelly. She retired from the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System, where she had worked as a secretary at Myers Park High School for over 25 years.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Adam M. Bost, Jr. She is survived by her son, Adam M. Bost, III; grandsons, Adam Bost, IV and Derek A. Bost; and granddaughter, Sabrina Bost Blanton.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 30th at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte.
