I knew Betty(and her family) since we were "teenagers" at Riverbend, We both graduated in1945 from Mt. Holly High School and have always kept in touch. Sorry for your Loss  and that I was unable to attend the services.She will be missed. Virginia dare Tucker  Chambers

Betty will be dearly missed.  I had the opportunity to serve with her on the Advisory Council of the Adam Three Police Division.  Her goals were always clear and true.  She was looking out for the less fortunate and making things better for everyone.  
Ms. Betty treated my family and I as her own family.  Our condolences to all who knew and loved Betty.

Lynn, Beth and family:  I was so sorry to hear about your mother passing away on Saturday.  It broke my heart that I did not make that call I was planning to make.  I met Betty in 1959 when I went to work where she worked.  She was always there for me during my times of first job, meeting, dating and marrying my husband, Bob, and the births and marriages of our sons.  We loved and respected Betty and Richard.  She will always be remembered.  We were not in touch as much as the years went by, but always managed to eventually update each other on our families, etc.  I remember how much Betty loved her girls and grandsons, her 'Bambi' and square dancing.  Everyone should have a friend as kind and understanding as Betty was.  My heart goes out to all of you during this time of sorrow and in the upcoming holiday.  Take care.  If you are ever in this area, please come by to see me.
