Born on August 31, 1926 in York County, SC to Tony Lathan Parrish and Mary Kathleen McClintock Parrish.
Betty married Jacob Harold Hudson and together they were the devoted parents to their only child, Kathleen Hudson Luckey.
Needlework, arts and crafts and sewing were the creative talents Betty loved to share with friends and children. She had a passion for working with children in her beloved Freedom Presbyterian Church where she was an active charter member. The Mothers’ Morning Out program was the setting for Betty to teach crafting to children.
Left to mourn her loss is her daughter Kathleen, son-in-law Ken and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service is planned for Friday, November 3, 2023 at 2:30pm at Sharon Memorial Park located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte.
