Betty Smith is survived by her husband Harry Smith of Midland, NC, Her children Victoria Ellis of Locust, NC and Harry Smith Jr of Harrisburg, NC. She is also survived by her grandchildren Christine Jones Brown, Melissa Jones, Hannah Ellis, Faith Ellis, Cory Smith, Zachary Smith and Summer Smith and her dog Chloe.
She is preceded in death by her brothers Robert Cable and Cecil Cable and sister Anne Mendenhall and her daughter Becky Jones.
Betty was born on October 12, 1939 in Charlotte, NC. She graduated from Central High School in Charlotte.
She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She loved the Lord and instilled that love of the Lord in her family and everyone that she met.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday May 2nd at Forest Lawn West at 11:00 am with the funeral immediately following at 12:00.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Charlotte in her name. Arrangements under the direction of Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, Charlotte, NC.
