Mrs. Lee was born to the late James M. Barbee, Sr. and Lula Howie Barbee on July 28, 1927 in Hickory, North Carolina. She was a member of Sugaw Creek Presbyterian Church and retired from the Charlotte Metro Credit Union after many years of service. Mrs. Lee is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee, Jr.; by brothers, Robert W. Barbee and James Mack Barbee, Jr.
Mrs. Lee is survived by her children, Cynthia Wilkinson, Harry Lee, III (Donna); grandchildren, Jennifer Wilkinson, Daniel Wilkinson and Sarah Wilkinson.
The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 5 at Sugaw Creek Presbyterian Church in Charlotte with Reverend Peter Kim officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the church on Friday.
