Betty Hargett Lynch

Betty was married to Charles Dean Lynch on February 13, 1948. They were married 66 wonderful years. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved reading, sewing, puzzles and eating out as often as possible.

Betty worked as a Vice President in mortgage servicing with City National Bank, which was later purchased by BB&T, for nearly 40 years.

Betty is survived by her husband, Charles Dean Lynch; daughter, Susan Lynch Huston, son-in-law, Kenn Huston and infant granddaughters, Arrie Elizabeth and Kensley May Huston of Charlotte; sister-in-law, Virginia Todd Hargett of Greenville, SC; nephew, Mark Hargett, his wife Cindy Hargett, and great-nephew, Brett Hargett of Greenville, SC.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Fred and Florence Bailey Hargett and her brother, Karl Eugene Hargett.

The committal service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 23rd in the Mausoleum Chapel at Sharon Memorial Park with Reverend Kyle Thompson, Senior Pastor of Sharon United Methodist Church, officiating.
