Betty Hamilton Passaly

Born May 5, 1927 in Charlotte, Betty was the youngest of ten children of the late William Mark Hamilton and Martha Frances Warner Hamilton.

Betty was a faithful and lifelong member of Christ Presbyterian Church. She was also an avid sports fan, loved to play cards, play piano, walk on the beach, and hang out by the pool, but more than anything, Betty loved spending time with her granddaughter, Erin.

Betty is survived by her son, Steve Passaly: and her granddaughter, Erin Passaly, both of Charlotte; a step-son, Everette Passaly, Jr. and his wife, Emily; as well as her sister, Virgie Poulas of Shalotte; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everette; and a son, Bill Marshall; as well as her siblings, Oscar, Jim, Lillian, Gert, Eloise, Alma, Mildred and Dorothy.

A service to celebrate Betty's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September, 26th from the graveside in Forest Lawn West Cemetery, 4601 Freedom Drive. Her family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 in the adjoining funeral home.
