Bill’s battle with Alzheimer’s has robbed them of time together here on Earth, but as a Christian, and member of Canton Baptist Church, Bill always believed that their love story would continue in eternity, as they were truly soul mates. The family’s request is that you honor the memory of Bill’s heroic battle by making contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association in lieu of flowers.
Bill leaves behind a legacy of smiles, laughter and love. He was outgoing and worked successfully in sales for over 40 years, a tribute to his endearing nature. In addition to his family, he also leaves behind many friends and business associates who will miss his boyish enthusiasm.
God Bless you, Bill. You are loved….and we will miss you so!
Til we meet again…….

Thank you....
Thank you, Bill, for welcoming me into your life....for sharing your love and laughter....for your enduring love and devotion to my mother. The warmth of your love and spiritual embrace will bring comfort to us both throughout the days ahead.
Thank you, Mike, for your quiet strength and comfort throughout the past few months and for your emotional support the past few days. Mother and I will be forever grateful to you for struggling through this process with us. And thank you most of all for sharing your father with us; he was a most precious gift and has touched our lives and hearts forever and beyond words.
Thank you, friends and family, for your kind words, thoughtful wisdom, and acts of kindness and generosity. Thank you for the errands, the food and for the prayers....and most of all for your love. It has seen us through the storm and will give us strength for the quiet calm that follows....strength to move forward and enjoy life as Bill would wish for all of us to do.
And most of all, thank you, Lord, that you offer us an opportunity for everlasting life through your son, Jesus Christ. Bill died and rose again to begin his spiritual journey on Easter Sunday. What a glorious symbolism to live on in the memories of those of us he left behind. Bill loved the Lord with all his heart, and it was his most sincere wish that we all meet again in Heaven for a glorious reunion. God bless you, Bill. We love you and will miss you, but commend you into the Lord's care....go in peace.
Until we meet again..........
Cheryl Lawing Paige
