Billy Joel Trull

He was born on July 15, 1940 to Charles ‘Charlie’ and Rhona Trull, grew up in Charlotte, NC and was a resident of the Westchester Community for more than 60 years. He was a drill instructor in the US Air Force, a ramp supervisor for Eastern Airlines for most of his career and retired as a security guard at Carolinas Medical Center.

Billy is survived by his wife of 63 years, Peggy Trull; son, Joel ‘Monty’ Trull; daughter Bonnie Kuhlmeyer and husband Dave; grandchildren, Justin Trull and wife Rebecca; Kayla Sims; Nicholas ‘Nick’ Trull and wife Kelsie; Robert ‘Robbie’ Sparrow and wife Kaitlin; Stephen Sparrow and wife Sabrina; Joshua ‘Josh’ Kuhlmeyer and wife Erica; Erin Anderson and husband Dennis; Christian Barber and wife Elizabeth; along with his 11 precious great grandchildren; extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles ‘Charlie’ and Rhona Trull and his son, Jonathan ‘Johnny’ Trull.

A visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026 at McEwen Funeral & Cremation Service at Forest Lawn West with a memorial service to follow.
