Billy Wade

Billy Wade, 70 of Charlotte, NC passed away on Friday January 31, 2025. Born April 26,1954 in Jacksonville, FL, he was the son of the late Mary Ann Wade-Chisholm and Scottie Miller. He lived a life full of love, strength and dedication to his family and he loved the Lord.

He worked in the freight industry all his life and retired from Estes Freight as a yard jockey.

A devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, Billy was a man of integrity and kindness. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Jacqueline Wade; three cherished daughters, Sheena "Nikki" Hunter(Anzelle) of Grover, NC, Latoya Wade and Marian Wade(Produs) of Charlotte, NC; along with his two brothers, Joey Chisholm (Janelle) and Nathan Chisholm, both of Charlotte, NC; three sisters, Cheryle Looney(Thomas),Janet McGill and Gloria Chisholm of Charlotte NC, who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

He also leaves behind 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, several cousins, nieces , nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Billy will be remembered for the unwavering love that he had for his family, his warm smile, jokes, and the wisdom he shared with those around him. He loved NASCAR and football. His presence brought comfort and joy to many, and his legacy will live on in the lives he touched.

Though he may no longer walk beside us, his spirit will remain forever in our hearts.

A visitation for Billy will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of his funeral service at 11:30 AM on Saturday, February 8, 2025 in the sanctuary of Blessed Assurance Church, 1900 Lane Street, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
