Bobbie W Bartlett

Bobbie W. Bartlett, 91, of Huntersville, went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2022. Born in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of Earl and Gladys (Luckey) Williams. She married Luther L. Bartlett Jr. on June 17, 1949 in York, SC.

A graduate of Thomasboro School, she was a charter member of Freedom Church, Charlotte.

An avid reader, Bobbie enjoyed playing piano, gardening, eating chocolate and spending time with her family

She is lovingly survived by her husband of 72 ½ years, Luther Bartlett Jr.; daughters, Robyn (Richard) Abernathy and Starr Chroust; grandchildren, Todd (Stacey) Abernathy, Bart Abernathy, Brittani Crenshaw and Jordan Crenshaw; great-grandchildren, Mary Charles Abernathy and Laine Bobbie-Jean Abernathy; sister, Shirley (Harold) Brown; numerous nieces and nephews.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Vernon Williams; sister, Virginia Summerville and sons-in-law, Donald Crenshaw and Rich Chroust.

Funeral Service 3 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Freedom Church, 1646 Toddville Road, Charlotte, NC. Visitation 2 p.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
