A native of Chester, South Carolina, Mrs. Redmon was born to the late James Hoglen and Fay Mullis Hoglen on August 25, 1943.
Mrs. Redmon is survived by her husband, Charles O. Redmon of the home; children, Julie Caudle of Stanfield, Judy Montoya of Stanley, Angela Brewer of Belmont, Penny Swindell of West Virginia, John Swindell of South Carolina, Sherry Redmon of Stanley, Mary Redmon of Charlotte, Cathy Mills of Mint Hill, Donnie Redmon of Stanley, Dana Roe of Indian Trail, Rodney D. Redmon of Monroe; fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11:00a.m., Tuesday, August 31 in the chapel at Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Rd, Charlotte. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
