George was a native of Charlotte NC.
He graduated from Central High School 1957 and served in the Army Reserves. George worked as a Golf Course Superintendent and later years as an engraving press operator. George was a skilled golfer and also loved to fish. He enjoyed time spent on the Outer Banks of North Carolina where his ashes will be scattered.
He is survived by his children: Gary Lawrence Deese, George Anthony Deese and his wife Caroline T. Deese; grandchildren: Katie Deese, Nykohl Mercier; great grandchildren: Joshua Deese, Kaleigh Greer, Zack Greer, Alyssa Wike, Alexis Wike and Bryson Wike.
