Brad was a movie buff, loved the ocean and surfing in his earlier years. Brad appreciated the underwater art work of Christian Riese Lassen, he was a pencil sketch artist and enjoyed playing golf. He enjoyed finding recipes for food he thought his children would enjoy and making meals together. But, most of all Brad loved being a Dad to Trevor and Nayomi. Brad was very grateful for Mike and Pam Yarber who unselfishly poured into the lives of his children and who will continue after his death. Brad attended Cleveland Community College and was proud of his trade as a gas pipe welder. Although Brad spent most of his life in the Charlotte area he considered Chapel Hill his hometown. He was a Tarheel fan through and through.
Brad was survived by his two children, Trevor Dwain and Nayomi Grace Kidwell. His parents Mark Dwain Kidwell and Rhonda Kidwell Silver (Kevin).his brother Bryan Kidwell, sister Devon Kidwell and nephew Jayden Kidwell whom he loved as his own son.. Brad had aunts, uncles and cousins from the East to West Coast.
The family would like to thank Atrium Health in Pineville specifically the 2 Palmetto Unit for their care and compassion during Brad's hospital stay.
A celebration of Brad's life will be at Christ the King Church, 13501 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
