Buddy Paul Craig

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Craig, and his grandparents, Donald and Linda Ashley, and Joseph and Addie Craig. Buddy is survived by his mother, Diane Craig, his brother Terry Hudson (Tonya McCoy), his sister Angie Craig (Shawn Freeman), his brother Michael Craig (Samantha Steele), and his daughter Avany Craig. He also leaves behind his nephews and nieces Terry Jr., Amaru, Caleb, Samiya, Aubree, Austin, and Mathew, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, adopted pops, and adopted brothers and sisters.

Buddy was a passionate Green Bay Packers fan who loved fishing, grilling, and spending time with family and friends. He had a big heart and treated all children as his own, striving to keep everyone on the right path. His bright light will never be dimmed, even in the darkest of nights.

A visitation and reception will be held at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, located at 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212, on February 10, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
