Calvin Fant Hamilton Sr.

Calvin grew up in the Anderson, SC area, and then the family moved back to Charlotte. He graduated from Central High School in 1944, and after graduation, served proudly in WWII. He went on to have a long career with Duke Power.

He is survived by his loving wife, Anne S. Hamilton; two sons, Calvin Hamilton, Jr. and Wade Hamilton (Joanne); and his daughter, Linda Brown (Randy). He is also survived by two granddaughters, Krista and Caitlyn; and three grandsons, Corey, Cameron and Garrett.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Avondale Presbyterian Church, 2821 Park Road, Charlotte. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Interment at Sharon Memorial Park will be private.
