Carol Joyce DiRe, 78, of Charlotte died Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at her home.
A native of Leaksville, North Carolina, Mrs. DiRe was born to the late Russell Joyce and Mary McKee Joyce on June 27, 1945. She was a member of Advent Lutheran Church in Charlotte.
Mrs. DiRe is survived by her husband John R. DiRe; children Donald Eugene Thomas (Amy), Phillip Andrew Thomas, John R. DiRe, Jr.; brothers Ronald Joyce, Philip Joyce and sister, Jean Greene. She is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Advent Lutheran Church, 8840 University City Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28213.
