Carolyn "Lynn" Brown Taylor

Lynn was born on December 4, 1939 in Spartanburg, S.C to the late Hugh R Brown and Emma Trescott Brown. In her early childhood she moved to Charlotte where she spent her entire life. Upon graduating from Central High she furthered her education at Carolina Business College where she earned a business degree. Lynn's early employment was at E.I DuPont de Nemours & Co. Upon leaving DuPont she began her career in education with the Charlotte Mecklenburg School system at Albemarle Rd. Middle School before eventually moving to the Education Center in uptown Charlotte.

Lynn was a recent member at Calvary Church and past member at Park Road Baptist and Grace Baptist Church, all in Charlotte. Her faith was front and center every day of her life.

Lynn is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ben Vincent "Vince" Taylor, son Ben Vincent "Vinky" Taylor and wife Kymra, two beloved grandchildren Joel and Ashton, and a great granddaughter Shaylan.

There will be a private inurnment with the family at Calvary Church.
