Charles Irwin Duncan of Charlotte, formerly of Columbia, MO, died on May 3, 2012. He was born on December 23, 1949, son of Ida Lee Ellis Duncan and the late Russell Bertis Duncan. Mr. Duncan graduated from the University of Missouri and served in the United States Air Force.
Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife Constance Ericson Duncan, their sons, Michael Paul Duncan (Hiromi), Donald Edward Ericson Duncan, daughter Jessica Linn Parry (Brian), and grandsons Michael and Christopher Parry. Mr. Duncan is also survived by his sister, Pat Phillips, and his brothers, Joe Buffon (Mary), Robert Duncan (Vicki), and Gene Buffon (Diane).
A gathering of Mr. Duncan’s family and friends to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, May 7, 2012, at 1:00PM at the McEwen Funeral Service Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the American Red Cross Service to Armed Forces or the Humane Society of Charlotte.
