

He is a 1999 graduate of UNC Charlotte with a B.S. in Nursing. He is also a 2007 and 2013 graduate of Touro University with a M.S. and M.B.A, respectively.
2LT Reeder attended the AMEDD Officer Basic Course with the USAR in 2002 coming onto Active Duty at Tripler Army Medical Center on 17 July 2006. During his first Tripler tour, he worked as an ICU nurse.
A fifteen month deployment to Iraq followed by successive tours at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center and 121st Combat Support Hospital in Youngson saw MAJ Reeder return to Tripler in August of 2012.
He is survived by Donna Lynn Murray, Steven Tate and Libby Tate, lifelong friends from Charlotte, North Carolina.
His final resting place will be in the Mausoleum of Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Major Reeder’s awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (4OLC), Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal (Bronze Star), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Service Medal, and the Army Service Ribbon. He was also awarded the Combat Action Badge for service in Iraq.
