Charles "Charlie" Leonard Shipes Jr. passed on Sunday, the 31st of May, 2026, at the age of 84, having been born on the 4th of January, 1942, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and residing in Huntersville, North Carolina.
Entombment will be held at Forest Lawn West Cemetery & Mausoleum, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208, on the 10th of June, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
