A native of Charlotte, Mr. Walker was born to the late Charles W. Walker and Robena Beatty Walker on October 22, 1930. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his wife Jean Walker in 1994.
Mr. Walker is survived by his children, Kathy Spainhour of Indian Trail, Charles Walker, Jr. of Belmont, Carolyn Lindsay of Belmont, Karen Pickett of Harrisburg, Sharon White of Kannapolis; by sister, Helen Briggs of Greenville, SC and eight grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 2:00p.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in Evergreen Cemetery in Charlotte.
