Cheryl Anne Cote

Cheryl was born on March 20, 1953 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Raymond and Patricia Cote’.

In 1969, her parents moved Cheryl and her siblings to Charlotte, NC.

Cheryl spent many years in the insurance industry after high school. She got married and had two sons. She spent the last 20 years as a loving and spirited employee of Hendrick Automotive Group.

Cheryl loved baking and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed making the stuffing for Thanksgiving dinner, though many would argue this decision by grandma. She also enjoyed spending time with her pets; Toby being her favorite.

Cheryl is survived by her sons, John ”JT” Foster and daughter-in-law, Nancy, Al Foster and daughter-in-law Diane and her best friend Brian Higgins; her beloved grandchildren, Jack, Nick and Zoe, and her great-granddaughter Izabella. Cheryl is survived by her dear sisters, Linda Turner, Denise Ricks (Chuck), Pamela Wagner (Al) and Elaine Peddycord (David).

Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Patricia Cote’, her beloved brother Ray Cote’.

There will be a “Celebration of Life”, on October 17, 2026 from 1pm-4pm at Hyatt House Hotel 9930 Sandy Rock Place, Charlotte, NC 28277. The family invites all friends and family to come and celebrate Cheryl’s life.
