

John Christopher “Chris” Riddle, the gates of Heaven opened on December 28, 2010 to receive John Christopher Riddle. Chris was the first son of Larry and Shirley Riddle of Charlotte, NC. A service to celebrate his life will be at 2:00PM Friday in the Chapel of Forest Lawn West Funeral Home with Military Rites. Dr. Gerald Bearden will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. A Charlotte native who attended Harding High School, Chris went on to join the Armed Forces, where he served honorable for four years. Following his military service, Chris embarked on a successful career in the Insurance Industry. While he started his career in an entry level position, he quickly rose to the top to become a highly accomplished executive whose skills were sough after by numerous Fortune 500 Companies. Chris embodied the term “Social Butterfly” with his contagious smile and humor. He had the ability to light up any room in any situation. Those who knew him best understood the charm and charisma that defined him. His interest included music, movies, entertaining other, and most of all spending time with his friends and family. He always lived for the moment and made sure life was full of exciting moments. The light of his life and greatest accomplishments were his three beautiful daughters. Chris was a proud father who love each in his own special way. He cherished spending precious moments with them and they remember him as the comforting father who made sure his girls knew he loved them. Surviving are his mother and father, his brother Dan-o-Riddle, sister Joy Riddle-Pang, and his three daughters, Jourdan, 23, Krista, l3, and Gracyn 4, and many other family members and friends, notable Bobby Suarz, his “other” brother. Chris was 41 years young and loved by many, many people. We will always remember him forever young on the stage of life, as he always knew how to make everyone smile with a song. While we miss him already, we invite all who knew Chris to celebrate his life and share their wonderful memories of him.
