Christina Denise Wheat Williams

Denise Williams, 40, of Huntersville, passed away on Sunday morning, July 27, 2014.

Services will be held at the McEwen-Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd, Pineville, NC, on Friday, Aug. 1st, from 1:00pm-3:00pm.

Born on August 2, she was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Williams.

She is survived by her daughter, Hailey Nicole Williams; mother, Kathy Longo; father, Mike Longo; brother, William Wheat; fiancé, Tim Powell; and many other friends and family members.

Christina Denise Williams slipped away in her sleep Sunday morning just one week shy of her 41st birthday. The past 2 years she endured constant doctor's visits and would find moments to laugh when it was easier to cry. Her world revolved around her precious daughter, Hailey, who was an honor roll student. Denise would always tell Hailey, "I love you to infinity and beyond". Denise was always making new friends and had a zest for life. Her family and all of her friends, old and new, will miss her greatly and are thankful to have Hailey as a reminder of the Denise we will always remember.
