Christine Hucks Moore, 96, of Clover, South Carolina passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025. Born September 22, 1928 in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of the late William Luther and Beulah Bethel (Hilton) Hucks. She was married to the late Homer Benton Moore.
A member of Lake Wylie Baptist Church, Chris grew up in the Charlotte area where she attended public schools.
She retired from the Mecklenburg County Health Department after numerous years of employment.
Chris enjoyed painting, cooking, sewing, gardening and spending time with family.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Chris was preceded in death by her only son, Terry Lee Moore along with 11 brothers and sisters, Early, Lester, Don, Olin, Bud, Fred, Ruth, Irene, Margaret, Ida Mae and Betty Hucks.
A graveside service for Chris will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 11, 2025, in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Condolences may be submitted at www.forestlawnwest.com.
