Chul Hee Choi was born to Eul Gyu Choi and Song Ja Choi on June 25th, 1957 in the Mapo district of Seoul, South Korea. He passed away at age 67 and is survived by his wife, Tae Ok Choi; daughter, Sora Choi; and his granddog, Henri Choi.
He was one of five children, known for his vibrant personality and lust for life. In the 1980s, he immigrated to the U.S. and enjoyed exploring the country while documenting his experiences through photography. Chul Hee loved traveling to the mountains and beaches; he liked music, going to the movies, fishing, eating delicious Korean food, and having a great time with family and friends. He was humorous, smart, resourceful, loving, and always spoke his mind. His aura and personality were unique; he passed many great qualities down to his only child, Sora, who will continue to live life to its fullest with her mother in memory of her father.
The Choi family greatly appreciates the support received through friends, family, the church, and community. May Chul Hee Choi rest in happiness and peace. He will be infinitely missed and live in our hearts forever.
