

Clara Belle White HUNTERSVILLE - Clara Belle White, formerly Clara Belle Baker, of Huntersville, NC, passed away on February 24, 2013, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Fl. She was born December 4, 1914, in Huntersville, NC, a daughter of Oscar B. Baker and Nancy Rebecca Therrell. Mrs. White was a graduate of Queens College, Charlotte, NC, by virtue of a scholarship from Henry Belk, founder of Belk Department Stores. She worked as an accountant at Saltmarsh, Cleveland and Gunn in Pensacola, FL, for many years. She is survived by her son, Cranford Odell Bost Jr. of Chicopee, MA; daughter, Nancy Rebecca Newman of Lexington Park, MD; granddaughter, Rosalind Marie Bartlett of Alexandria, VA; grandson, Jonathan Sterling Newman of Atlanta, GA; and brother Fred Baker of Cocoa Beach, FL. A service to celebrate Clara Belle White's life will be held at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212, on Friday, March 1, 2013, at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Susan G.
