I have said a prayer for the repose of the soul of Clarence and may his family accept my condolences. Unless I am mistaken I was a classmate of Clarence at Tonti Grammar School at 59th. & Homan Ave. on Chicago's South side and we were in the graduating class of 1947. Like so many of those graduates I don't think I ever saw Clarence again. However, I do remember him well -he was about a head taller than most of us ; but, belying his size he always seemed to be a very gentle person who got along with everyone . In other words he was a nice guy. 

Although I have not seen Clarence in 68 years I am assuming I am praying for the Clarence I knew back in the day. I say this because I also am age 82 and his name is certainly not common. If I am mistaken about this hopefully my prayer and my condolences will nevertheless be accepted .

I would like to express my sincere condolences for your loss we are keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. My you be strengthen in knowing that the God of all comfort will be with you all as you cope with your loss.
