

Mr. Chambers worked with Western Electric and Lucent Technology for 30 years. Following his retirement he spent all of his time fishing and having fun.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Patsy D. Chambers; and three children, Chris (Frank) Hart of Emmaus, PA, and Dyrle Chambers and Tammy Allen, both of Charlotte. Also surviving are grandchildren, Angie Keck and Jason Hart of Allentown, PA, Ashley Allen of Charlotte and Blair Tingen, serving in the US Army in Ft. Hood, TX; and two great grandchildren, Dakota and Griffin Keck; as well as his brother, O.C. Chambers.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters, Pauline, Lucy, Bill, Dick, Frank and Reba.
A service to celebrate Mr. Chambers’ life will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 21st in the chapel of Forest Lawn West Funeral Home with the Reverend George Sherman officiating. Entombment will following in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Mr. Chambers’ family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 to 2:00 PM prior to the service.

Mr. Chambers will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love of life, and as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
