Born in Staunton, Virginia, the son of Clarence and Sally Kerr. He grew up in Roanoke, Virginia and graduated from Jefferson High School and the University of Georgia. He was a proud veteran of the United States AirForce.
Kerr lived a life devoted to family and faith. He was a dedicated business owner for over 40 years who was loved and respected by his employees and those he partnered with. He was forced to retire at 81 due to a long battle with Amyloidosis.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anne, two cherished daughters, Jennifer Kerr Bevan and Charlie, Kristen Kerr and two grandchildren, Madeline and Benjamin all of Charlotte. Also survived by his sister, Shelvy Shank, Stanton, Virginia.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial be made to Tunnels 2 Towers Foundation or Wounded Warriors Project.
