When you look back over a life of 92 years it is impossible to think about who all you touched, loved, became friends and family with, went to church with, shared meals with, and the helpful little life tidbits you left behind for others to appreciate. Grandma Eddie left me a few. First, always finish a good meal with just a bite of something sweet—even if there is not room—it’s worth it! Second, wash a towel with your sheets, the friction gets those sheets clean! Who knew? Lol Third, take pride in your appearance and your dress when you leave the house-you never know who you may run into. And lastly, appreciate your grandmother’s homemade baked Mac-n-cheese! Nothing like it! Rest In peace Grandma...Love, Tree

Dear Eddie (Colene) I would just feel strange to call you anything but the name that I called you since we first met! Its hard to believe we met 43 years ago when I met Mike and you always made me feel welcome in your home. I always loved our visits to NC to stay with you and Jack and when you all would come to visit us in Florida and Arizona. I’ll never forget our trip to the Grand Canyon one of our best trips ever. I’m glad you came to live with us for awhile before you went on to be with your heavenly family. I am so sorry the way things turned out with the virus and us not being able to visit you. I’m so thankful we had a chance to have a few FaceTime calls and explain the reason why we couldn’t come and see you. It has to be one of the most painful experiences we have ever gone through. We so wanted to come and see you! We love you and wish you all the love and happiness in heaven with Jack and your heavenly family! Love and miss you! Barbara Mike and all of my family too! God bless you. ❤️🙏🥰😇

Eddie is the name I have always known my stepmom! It takes a very special person to marry into a household with three boys! She was special in this way as well as many others! I can say knowing her as a stepmom improved my upbringing and my outlook on life! Thanks Eddie for being there for me throughout the years!
God Bless this soul and prepare a special place in Heaven for her!
