Conley Donald Smith

He is survived by two children, Carolyn Waddail and husband Bill of Monroe, Ricky Smith of Wilmington, two siblings, Rita Beane of Maryland and Robert Smith of Rutherford, NC. Grandchildren, Tina Waddail Galliher of Monroe, Jeff and Tammy Jones of Monroe, NC, Jason and Hilary Jones of Mooresville, NC, Jamie Jones of Wilmington, NC, and Jennifer Jones of Monroe, NC.

Great Grandchildren, Jessica and Sara, Eric, Madison, Benjamin and Summer, Andy and Kimberly, Hailee, Kasey and Phillip. Mr. Smith is also survived by his loving companion, Nancy Stowe of Mt. Holly and her family.

In addition, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Smith and a son, Eddie Jones.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 2, at Forest Lawn West Chapel, 4601 Freedom Drive. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral. Pastor Ken Lyon of Matthews UMC officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
