A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 7, 2019 at Harrison United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Reverend Elizabeth Coppedge-Henley, Pastor Kyle McCain and Pastor Steve McCormick. The family will receive friends following the service.
Burial will be in Johnson Grove Cemetery in Vass, NC on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 2:00PM.
Diane was born in Lee County on September 11, 1946 to the late Harold and Beulah Kimball Lassiter. She was preceded in death by a son, Shane Hutchinson, and brothers, Wilfred, Bobby Lee and Johnnie Lassiter
Diane owned and operated a daycare at Belair UMC for many years Then she came home and was a wife mother and grandmother till her passing. During her retirement she was able to enjoy traveling and her passion for service was manifested by volunteering at her church and Red Bird Community Store at Red Bird Mission in Beverly, Kentucky.
Diane is survived by husband of 51 years,: Wallace, a daughter Christina Hutchinson, a granddaughter Arieal and a grandson Andrew; a sister Lucille Coore, sister-in-laws, Sharon and Marintha Lassiter, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends near and far.
