Cynthia "Cindi" Shelton

Born July 10, 1944 in Detroit Michigan. Cindi was the daughter of the late Victor Joseph Matuszak and Elizabeth Dorothy Matuszak. Cindi graduated from Osbourne High School in Detroit, MI.

Cindi was a talented artist, which brought her much joy throughout her life. Her family still proudly possesses most of her work and is a wonderful reminder of her life with us. Cindi was a resourceful person who devoted much time and energy to home decorating in order to provide a comfortable home environment for friends and family. Cindi also had a love for Music and theatre. Cindi’s utmost joy came from time spent with her children and two grandchildren, Jack and Ava Auer.

Cindi was the wife of Kenneth Gordon Shelton whom she married September 11, 1993.

She is survived by her husband Kenneth Gordon Shelton of 30 years, and three children, Thomas A. Auer of Matthews, NC, James Shelton of Concord, NC and Douglas Shelton of Murfreesboro, TN.

A service to celebrate Cindi’s life will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, June 20th, in the chapel of McEwen Funeral Service-Pineville, 10500 Park Road Pineville, NC 28134. The family will receive friends following the service.
