Danny Franklin Hood

Danny Hood, 60, passed away Wednesday, June 8th, 2022 at Atrium Pineville. He was born June 6th, 1962 in Fort Gordon, Georgia. He was the son of Cornelia Inez Hood and the late Clarence Doyne Hood. Following graduation from Harlem High School, Danny began sharpening his skills in plumbing, electrical, and construction.

He moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 1990. In 1993, he opened his business, Charlotte Specialty Services, which serviced the fountains of Charlotte for 29 years. During his free time Danny loved deer hunting, camping, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his two children, Bradley and Stephanie Hood, of Charlotte, NC; his sister, Karen Hood Martin, of Monticello, Georgia; as well as his mother, Cornelia Hood, of Monroe, NC. A brother, Wayne Hood and his father, Clarence Hood preceded him in death.
