I want to first send my deepest condolences to the family as Darlene was a great mother, sister, daughter, friend, and just all around person to have in your life. 

To me, she was always “Doll Baby.” We made some of the best memories imaginable. We laughed, even got into a little trouble, and truly enjoyed life - and I’m forever thankful for those memories. Even though we hadn’t seen each other in a while, I never forgot her and will always cherish the bond we shared, FOREVER. 

When I think of Doll, I think of her beautiful smile, her sense of humor, and how she could light up a room the moment she walked in. From her laughter to her hair always being done (including the baby hair because she was the first to ever slay those) -  she was truly a walking beauty and friend, more like a sister to say the least. One of my favorite memories is hearing her say, “Ouuuu chile!” Every time she said it, I knew something funny was coming right after, and we’d be laughing before long. 

Thank you, Doll Baby, for the joy, the laughter, and the memories. Rest peacefully, my friend. You will always hold a special place in my heart.

To the family, 
We love you all so much and although she will be missed… her sense of humor, love, and laughter always will be remembered. I will forever hear her calling Tania saying “MooMoo… wyd” or saying hold on because her son was calling lol -  she was one loving mother and just a person who cared to check on any and everybody but especially her kids and grands. 

She even accepted my kids with joy as she lit up a room. I wish I could have thanked her sooner but thank you for sharing your family with mine. My mother (Wanda), my kids, and loved ones know you are resting and worry-free, just as a queen should be.

Girl, I will miss you. We had some good times that I will never forget. You were a great friend to me and I am forever thankful for that. Get your rest. You did an amazing job and I love you very much.
