Delores Violet Brower, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026, at the age of 90-1/2 years, in Salisbury, North Carolina. Born on June 13, 1935, in Waushara County, Wisconsin, Delores filled her years with love, laughter, and an indomitable spirit that touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Delores was the cherished daughter of George and Esther Bartel, who instilled in her the values of family, resilience, and kindness. Throughout her life, she embodied these values, creating a legacy that will endure through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Delores is survived by her four children: Rhonda Brown, Margie Smith, Bruce Brower, and Kelly Brower. She took immense joy in her role as a grandmother to Stacey Brown, Jason Brown, Cody Smith, Carson Smith, Russell Brower, and Hayden Browner. In addition, she was a proud great-grandmother to Braiden Guest and Bryson Laney, who brought her immeasurable happiness.

Delores was known for her vibrant personality and her colorful approach to life. She had a remarkable ability to light up any room with her laughter and warmth. Her love for family was evident in the traditions she cherished, the delicious meals she prepared, and the countless memories she created with her loved ones. A funeral service in celebration of Delores' life will be held on January 12, 2026, at 1pm at McEwen Funeral Service - Pineville Chapel. The family will start greeting friends at 12 noon.
