Dennis Merle Dick

Dennis Merle Dick, 79, passed away Sunday, June 7th, 2026, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and his presence will be deeply missed.

Born June 7, 1947, in Hudson, Michigan, he was the son of late Merle Neilan Dick and Mary Donelda Camp-Dick. He attended Albert Lee High School in Minnesota, where he lettered in football and went to Nationals in Gymnastics. After graduation, he joined the United States Marines Corp, where he obtained the rank of Captain as a bombardier/navigator. Upon honorable discharge, he attended St. Louis University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He used his degree serving as an Accountant Manager for the Kroger Company for 35 years, eventually retiring. Dennis was a lifelong member of the Lions Club, where he held several different positions, including President. He was also a devout Methodist, helping with numerous jobs and committees.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia Ann Baker; his brother; three biological children; four stepchildren; one biological grandchild; seven step-grandchildren; and seven great-step-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be announced for a later date.
