Diane Privette Murray

Diane was born December, 30,1942 to the late Hazel Privette and the late Mary Rivers. She was preceded in death by husbands; Clarence Ledbetter and Mike Murray.

Diane graduated from Lancaster High School then pursued a career in banking for 34 yrs . She was very detail oriented, meticulous and had a remarkable work ethic.

Diane grew up in the church and trusted Jesus Christ into her adulthood. She became a widow in her early 20's with a young daughter, later became a single mother of two then took care of her dying husband. Life wasn't always easy for her but she always had the hand of God guiding and comforting her. She loved attending Steele Creek Church of Charlotte.

The joy of her life was her family and her dogs. She spent her last years with her beloved Laddie. She loved to travel with her late Husband, Mike. They went to Alaska, Africa , Hawaii and several cruises.

She was very stylish and always had to put "her lips" on before going anywhere. She loved to shop to maintain her fashionable wardrobe and to decorate her house. She was an avid reader, especially her bible and Christian books.

She is survived by two daughters; Darlyn Claprood of Spartanburg , Melissa Luithle (Dan) of Fort Mill. Sister; Iris Shelly and Brother; Alan Privette.

Four grandsons ; Clinton Case, Jeremiah Luithle (Kristina), Jordan Luithle (Blanca) and Tanner Luithle. and Six Great Grandchildren.

A service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 20th in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home -5301 Albemarle Rd, Charlotte NC 28212. A private family graveside service will follow in York Memorial Park.
