Donald Burch

Donald “Don” Burch was born on March 21, 1956, to the late Mary Hall-Burch and Herman J. Stafford, in Gastonia, North Carolina. He departed this life on June 30, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“Don” was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic since early childhood, where over the years he grew in Christ and partnered in faith with the late Bishop H.P. Hancock. His appreciation for life and his devotion to family became his strength and recourse to overcome an injury he sustained at a very young age. “Don” enjoyed a good game of pool and nice cars. His family and friends knew him to be loyal, giving and loving.

“Don” will be missed by all who loved and cared for him.

He leaves to cherish his memory three brothers, Withrow Burch, Jr., Carlise Burch and his Twin, Ronald Burch; A sister, Dorothy Burch; A son, Antwon McCorkle; A daughter, Arturo Byrd; And three grandchildren, Dontray Pharr, Paris Bryd and Isaias Delgado; And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his ‘special’ friend Annette Harris. He is predeceased by a brother, Warren E. Burch.
