Mr. Donald “Donnie” Milton Moore, 63, of Charlotte, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 3, 2016. A native of Charlotte, NC, Donald was the son of Tommy Milton Moore and Bertha Redwine Moore. Donnie and his wife Susan have attended Central Church for 30 years. Donnie spent his career in the industrial battery and charger business. After retiring from his career, he loved spending time with his wife Susan, and scrap metal recycling, which was a hobby of his. Donnie was a huge Carolina Panther fan, and was an overall sports enthusiast. He had a special relationship with his grandson Noah, with whom he liked to play basketball. Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 40 years, Susan Stewart Moore, daughter, Stephanie Moore Tharpe and husband, Adam, and grandson, Noah of Matthews, NC; brothers, Jerry Keith Moore and wife, Josephine, of Rock Hill, SC, Michael Dale Moore and wife, Kathy, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; sister, Sandra Moore Keith and husband, Eiji of Hampton, GA.
