Charlotte - Don Reynolds, 87, passed away on December 6, 2023. He was born on April 15, 1936 in Pinehurst, NC, the son of the late Elmer and Eliza Reynolds. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Reynolds.
Don served in the Army with tours in Korea and Japan. He settled in Pineville in 1968 and was a barber in Pineville for 18 years before working at Johnson Motor Lines for 9 years. After that, he had Reynolds Realty for 25 years, which was his passion.
He was a member of Harrison United Methodist Church. He loved people and enjoyed getting trips together for the senior group at church.
Don is survived by son, Rick (Sharon) Reynolds of Fort Mill, SC; stepdaughter, Sharon (Hal) Ashely of Pineville; two grandchildren, Elizabeth (Nathan) Riley of Madison, TN and Justin (Mallory) Ashley of Fort Mill, SC; and great-grandson, Sutton Ashley.
The funeral service will be held Harrison United Methodist Church, Pineville, NC at 3:00 pm Tuesday, December, 12th with visitation from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm prior to the service.
