Doris Foxworth Britt

Doris Foxworth Britt, age 63, of Salisbury, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022. Doris was born August 25, 1958 in Seattle, Washington to the late Dewey Lee Foxworth, Sr. and Carolyn Kissel Foxworth. Doris was a member of Pitts Baptist Church in Concord, NC. She loved music, the outdoors and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Doris is survived by her daughter Margaret Coley (Travis); daughter Judy Callahan (Andy); and daughter Barbara Oot (Lewis); brother David L. Foxworth, brother Dominic Foxworth and sister Crystal Foxworth; her granddaughter Angela Coley, grandson Brandon Coley, granddaughter Kailee Coley, granddaughter Amber Callahan, grandson Joseph Callahan, granddaughter Savanna Oot, grandson Ethan Oot, grandson Justin Oot and her partner Carl Dwyer. Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Floyd Britt; brother Dewey L. Foxworth, Jr.; sister Donna Foxworth and her sister Debbie Alexander. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 14 in the chapel at Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Rd., Charlotte with Rev. Ron Helms officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
